Reached by walking at low-tide or by a short ferry trip, this little outcrop is home to a fairytale castle and beautiful tropical gardens. Back on the mainland, the nearby beaches of Perranuthnoe, Lamorna Cove and Kenneggey Sands are worth the trip, while walkers might enjoy the challenge of the South West Coast Path which leads all the way to St Ives.
