Let us introduce ourselves: we’re Love Cottages and this is our blog.

Love Cottages is the UK’s newest holiday cottage rental website. For the love of cottage holidays we bring you quality, inspected accommodation, easy, secure booking and local insight wherever you stay.

That’s why we settled on this tagline: “Rest assured”.

What’s so new?

We’re pretty unique in that every single one of our holiday homes has been personally inspected. Plus, at launch most of our cottages in England and Wales will have a Visit England or Visit Wales rating too. And most of the self-catering agencies that we work with have been Quality Assurance Association (QAA) accredited. That means they adhere to strict guidelines from those national bodies allowing them to rate their properties according to QAA practices. You can visit our agency page to see clearly which agencies are Visit England approved.

Any of our self-catering agency partners not currently accredited are required to achieve this status in 2016. Then Love Cottages will be the only site with all of its England and Wales holiday lets inspected and meeting a minimum standard. Oh yes!

We hand pick our holiday homes from the UK’s best known independent and regional holiday cottage companies. You’ll see which company you’re booking with on each cottage description page.

At launch we’ll have more than 10,000 cute, cosy, crisp and clean cottages nationwide. It matters to us that you have access to real choice of genuinely quality accommodation. Pretty much wherever you want to go across the country, we’ll have a selection of personally inspected, rated and quality assured cottages to choose from.

So what you see and read when holiday browsing with us is absolutely what you get. Rest assured.

What’s so great about that?

Time is tight.
Holiday booking should be inspiring and enjoyable without taking hours (or days) and without you having to ask every man (or woman) and their dog if they’ve stayed there and what they thought about it. We’re here to ensure that your next holiday booking experience is time-light and weighted with confidence.

Holidays are precious.
We appreciate that downtime is increasingly hard to come by. So when you do take time out, let it be memorable for the all the right reasons. From search to stay, we’ll ensure you have a hassle-free, memory-brimming holiday.

Where’s the catch?

If there is one, it’s that you won’t find another British travel website that can say it’s home to more than 10,000 UK holiday lets that have been inspected, let alone personally inspected.

Unique is one of the most mis-used superlatives around, but we think it’s pretty accurate in our case.

But we wouldn’t call that a catch. We’d call it simplifying your holiday search. Taking the hassle out of holidays. Rest assured.
