Following the coastline south a few miles you’ll arrive at Mumbles, the gateway to the magnificent Pembrokeshire coast. A vibrant village with a strong community feel the best of both worlds awaits. Browse through the eclectic mix of shops that inhabit The Mumbles Mile and then swap the shops for the shore as you traverse Mumble’s headland and settle down for a paddle at Bracelet Bay. It’s a rocky, blue flag beach which is great for little explorers to go crabbing.

We can’t leave our meander through South Wales without mentioning that giant of all Welsh beaches, Rhossili Bay. Located on the south western tip of the Gower Peninsular, the bay is part of the very first area to be designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty back in 1956. There are 19 miles to traverse between Mumbles and Rhossili Bay encompassing some of the spectacular scenery you’re ever likely to come across. For those that are looking for a truly immersive experience now’s your chance. Take a boat tour and enjoy a closer look at the caves and coves from the water.
