Thanks to the region’s mild climate it’s home to some of the finest gardens you’ll ever find yourself in. One of our favourites has to be Logan Botanic Garden, known for being one of the most exotic gardens in Scotland and a blazing attraction of colour and rare plants from all over the world. Or, if you like your gardens grand, wander the Drumlanrig Castle Gardens on the Queensberry Estate and imagine how they would have looked when they were completed in 1689.
