Where the Wash meets the North Sea, on the beautiful north Norfolk coastline, lies the village of Holme next the Sea, a stunning location for your next short break in the UK. Its west-facing position means that it’s a terrific spot for sunset gazing. Many of our Holme holiday cottages boast sea views, so make sure you get back in time for dusk!

The sandy beach is great for families and was also the site of ‘Seahenge’, an intriguing Bronze Age timber circle discovered twenty years ago. This area is a nature lover’s paradise – its situation on the North Sea makes it a hotspot for migratory birds, and there are several nearby nature reserves.

Head to Hunstanton for all the fun of the fair, and pony rides on the beach, or pull on your walking boots and explore the coastal paths, before heading back to your Holme holiday cottage in time for sunset!
