Trebetherick

If you’re heading for the north Cornwall coast, how about a few days in one of our Trebetherick holiday cottages? Right on the coast with beaches like Daymer Bay and Greenaway cove to keep you going all week; you’ll be in sandcastle heaven on your family holidays. Surf spots Rock and Polzeath are on your doorstep too.

If you’re taking a pet-friendly holiday, close by is the traffic-free Camel Trail popular with walkers and cyclists alike. Plus walks between the villages and beaches on this stretch of coastline are leisurely for all abilities. Trebetherick’s St Enodoc Church is perched on the beach side of the golf links of the same name. Recovered from encroachment by the dunes, it is here that former Poet Laureate, Sir John Betjeman, is buried.

The shoreline is dotted with visible remains of shipwrecks as you wander the headlands rich with native flora and fauna. And back in town either head to the pub for dinner or to the independently owned village stores, which is popular with guests sourcing ingredients for dinner in our Trebetherick holiday homes.
